Rather than do the normal list of dull uninteresting facts that gives you absolutely no idea about what I’m really like, I’m going to try to do a monologue instead. Here it goes….

As you have probably already noticed, I am very wordy. This can probably be put down to me having read almost all of Douglas Adams’ books and having enjoyed all that I have read. My being wordy is not an attempt to hide a low IQ as in fact I am supremely intelligent (that was a joke). My writing style is most likely due to an unconscious effort to mimic how Douglas Adams writes. Not, really, a bad person to mimic.

I am also an active person and can competently play a variety of sports. Though currently I only play for a cricket club (Chichester) but I used to play rugby for another club (Portsmouth). In most sports, I become very competitive which can be a good thing but when you’re playing basketball with a friend can beat by a lot every time if you want to, it may be a good idea to give them a break. Maybe.

Musically I have no talent whatsoever. Give me a guitar and I would be able to play it far better as a drum. Of course if you give me a drum, I would be able to play it far better as a guitar which is quite a feat. Really, I don’t know whether to be pround that I can be so inovative or depressed that I can’t hit a cylinder with a stick. It’s too close to call.

Listening to music is something I can do. Give me a piece of music and I’ll listen the hell out of it. Unless it happens to be dance music. Then you will find me hitting my head against the wall trying to knock myself out so I can escape the computer synthesised noise. Bands (or artists) that I listen to range from Dashboard Confessional and Jimmy Eat World to NOFX and Modest Mouse. Most of my friends would have heard at most 1 out of the 4 artists listed. Mainstream music tends not to be my friend.

Now, I suppose, I shall have to put something about my qualifications/studies. Well, I have 12 (I think) GCSEs and I am confident that I will have 4 out of a possible 5 A’s at A/S. For A2 I will be taking Maths, Further Maths and Physics. Those of you that are alert (or have a short attention span and have already wandered throught the rest of the site) will notice that there are several articles and a prologue to a story that I have claimed to have written. I have actually written these. Those of you that are intelligent (or care) may now be wondering why is an aspiring mathematician/physicist writing articles. A while back a couple of my friends got the idea into their heads that I was a good comic writer (comic as in funny not comic books) and persuaded me to write a few things.

Now I doubt that anyone will actually read down this far so it seems like a good place for a disclaimer.
